Respawn Entertainment just released the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends Season 19: Ignite, and it's looking to be one of the game's most transformative seasons yet. With long-awaited new features like cross-progression, a new legend with a Titan-powered kit, and a massive map makeover, Season 19 is stuffed with new content for players to explore.

The gameplay trailer also gave players a closer look at new legend Conduit's ability set. As hinted at in the Season 19 launch trailer, Conduit is a Support legend with powerful shield-repair abilities and a handy passive speed boost. Her abilities are listed below:

Passive: Savior's Speed

When running toward a squadmate who is out of tactical range, Conduit gains a temporary speed boost.

Tactical: Radiant Transfer

Conduit can send a surge of protective energy to a nearby teammate, which will temporarily repair both party's shields. The effect is short-lived, but it certainly seems like it could come in handy in a pinch.

Ultimate: Energy Barricade

Conduit deploys an array of shield-jamming devices that damage enemies and limit their ability to move

As a Support-class legend, Conduit also has access to two additional passive abilities. The first allows her to access the secret compartment inside Extended Supply Bins, which, when opened, will give Conduit and her teammates access to four additional healing items. The second Support-exclusive ability allows her to craft the banner cards of dead squadmates--even if they've timed out before anyone managed to snag the banner card from their death box.

This ability is especially useful when a squadmate is downed during a firefight involving multiple squads. Rather than risking her neck and immediately making a run for the banner card, Conduit can simply wait for the respawn timer to run out, then head to a Replicator and craft a banner card to use at any nearby Respawn Beacon.

The trailer also gave players a better look at the massive Storm Point map redesign, which features new POIs and a drastically different visual aesthetic--the map's titular storm clouds have finally cleared, replaced with a sky full of cotton candy-colored clouds and bright rainbows. Of course, no Apex Legends season is complete without a battle pass, and the new gameplay trailer also provided players a few glimpses of the brightly colored cosmetics they can expect to unlock should they purchase the Ignite battle pass.

Apex Legends Season 19: Ignite begins on Tuesday, October 31 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay tuned for more Apex Legends news, and don't forget to claim your free rewards from the Halloween-themed Doppelgangers Collection Event before the season ends.
