Best Cyber Monday 2020 Deals On Games With Free PS5 Upgrades
There are countless Cyber Monday deals on PS4 games, but here are those that will get you free access to the PlayStation 5 versions.
Those who have been lucky enough to buy a PS5--or those hoping to do so--may be looking to fill out their next-gen library during Cyber Monday 2020. Fortunately, a number of PS4 games that provide free upgrades to the PS5 versions are on sale, letting you pick them up for cheaper than usual and start playing them, even if you don't have a next-gen console yet. This even includes games that have just been released in the last few weeks, such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla for $50 and Watch Dogs: Legion for $30.
All of the games listed below allow users to upgrade to the PS5 version for free. Some of these upgrades provide higher resolutions, more stable frame rates, or even special graphics features. Ghost of Tsushima and Days Gone got some impressive PS5-compatibility patches rather than full next-gen versions, which up both titles' frame rates to run at a solid 60fps. Keep in mind that the PS5 Digital edition can't play physical discs, so that will limit what you can take advantage of, but the PlayStation Store Black Friday sale is live with digital game deals.
If you're looking for more, check out the best PS5 and PS4 game deals for Cyber Monday 2020. The sale week also brings a number of excellent PS5 and PS4 accessory deals as well as great deals on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox games, and Nintendo Switch games. There are very few better times to stock up on your gaming goodies.
