Call of Duty: Warzone's latest patch is now live, and it includes a host of bug fixes and tweaks alongside the addition of the Iron Trials '84 mode to private matches. In addition, the Grav rifle is buffed slightly via a recoil decrease. [Update: Iron Trials '84 private matches have now been disabled temporarily. Developer Raven Software says this is due to "an ongoing issue with players being unable to connect to a lobby." A fix is in the works, but there's no word on how soon it might roll out.]

Although primarily composed of bug fixes, the highlight of this patch is the addition of Iron Trials '84 to private matches. Added to Warzone in September, this game mode is a more hardcore variation on Warzone's core battle royale mode. It speeds up matches and makes them more challenging by decreasing circle collapse timers and match duration while also restricting the amount of vehicles available to players. In addition, Epic and Legendary weapons are harder to find. Now you'll be able to run private versions of Iron Trials matches, capped at 132 players (although Raven Software states that it'll be bumped up to 150 in the future).

In addition, the Grav, a full-auto assault rifle from Black Ops Cold War, has received a bit of a tweak via a decrease in recoil. Rounding out the update are a variety of bug fixes, including fixing incorrect XP awards in Clash modes, issues that allowed players to go out-of-bounds on Rebirth Island, and other problems with unlocking content. You can see the full list of changes below.

In other Warzone news, Raven Software is currently working on a problem that required it to remove the Scopes and Scatterguns mode from the Warzone playlist. The developer has yet to share a timeline for bringing the shotguns-and-snipers mode back, but we'll update this story when Raven gives additional info.

In the meantime, Warzone's Halloween-themed event, The Haunting, goes live today. It adds a new mode called Ghosts of Verdansk, which turns players into ghosts who can super-jump, stun players, and teleport. You can read more about The Haunting here.
