Cities: Skylines Xbox One Release Date Revealed
Includes After Dark DLC expansion.
If you'd rather build cities with a controller than a keyboard, here's some good news: Cities: Skylines is making its console debut on Xbox One on April 21.
The SimCity-inspired city building and management game has become a much-loved title for more than a million players and a big success for publisher Paradox. It was the company's fastest-selling game ever when it launched in 2015, and now it is expanding beyond the PC, Mac, and Linux releases.
The Xbox One release of Cities: Skylines also includes the game's first DLC expansion, After Dark, which gives players access to new transportation options, nightlife, tourist attractions, and city services to accommodate your citizen's night time activities.
Cities: Skylines is available for pre-order now and will cost US $40 / £35 / AU $70. Subsequent DLC expansions Snowfall and Natural Disasters aren't included in the Xbox release.
Meanwhile, another DLC expansion for the game is on the way for PC. Mass Transit will bring even more transportation options to the game and offer news ways to get across town by land, sea, and air. There's no official release date yet, but you can get a preview by watching the announcement trailer here.
