Codename: Outbreak goes gold

GSC Game World has announced that the UK version of its upcoming first-person shooter, Codename: Outbreak, has gone gold. The company also launched the official Codename: Outbreak Web site, which contains a general overview of the game's features and story, along with a gallery of screenshots.

Codename: Outbreak, which was previously named Venom, is set in the future, in the midst of an alien invasion. Players will assume the role of a human soldier fighting against the alien invasion, and they will also control a second character.
