In light of today's mishaps with Xbox Live, I am grateful to all of those that participated. In particular, my thanks to the participants of Races 5 and 6 for your flexibility and good humor regarding the last minute rescheduling.
As a note of explanation, as the rules require players to be present in chat for roll call, we did have to decide to disqualify those that did not do so for those matches. It was a hard decision to make, but it was made in good faith in the fairness to the racers that showed up and followed the published rules and FAQ. As a result, those players automatically advanced to the next round with a default time of 2:00:00. If you have any questions regarding this decision, please email at kevinv@gamespot.com.
