D&D Online rolls dice in Japan

Turbine teams up with Sakura Internet to launch MMORPG across the Pacific; Asian-themed content added.

Bad Godzilla jokes aside, Japan has been invaded by Dungeons & Dragons today. Developer Turbine and Sakara Internet today announced that Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach has launched in Japan. The game is the first massively multiplayer online role-playing game using the D&D license, and was released in North America February 28. Stormreach was localized for Japan by both Sakara and Turbine, and features "Asian-themed armor, weapons, and content." The game is published in North America by Atari.
