Diablo Rules Battle.net
At the ripe age of six months, Diablo's hold on gamers remains strong.
It's been six months since Diablo was released, and Blizzard's RPG has consistently remained at the top end of PC Data's best-selling game list. The title, in fact, only recently relinquished its hold on the #1 position in PC Data's list top-selling PC games; Diablo dropped to the #2 slot for May, replaced by LucasArts' X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter.
Wednesday, the company announced that 13 million games of Diablo have been played over Battle.net, its online gaming service. Around 700,000 registered users have played Diablo so far.
