It's been a big week for Activision's upcoming turntable rhythm game, DJ Hero. Following on from yesterday's news that Jazzy Jeff would be making an appearance in DJ Hero, the publisher has now announced a special Renegade Edition of the game.

Renegade Edition isn't quite as over-the-top as Activision's Modern Warfare 2 prestige edition with night-vision goggles, but there's still plenty for budding DJs to get stuck into. The pack will contain a "premium" renegade turntable controller and a hard-shell turntable carrying case that converts to a stand, so gamers can easily take their kit on the road to battle the DJ masses. CDs from hip-hop superstars Jay-Z and Eminem, who were previously announced as frontmen for the game, will also be included featuring unreleased tracks.
Pricing for the pack has not yet been announced, but the standard edition of the game is set to retail for $120. Activision has also released a video of Jay-Z and Eminem conveniently performing the track "Renegade," which can be checked out below.
