Duke Nukem: The Movie

Dimension Films will produce the feature film based on 3D Realms' famous action-game hero.

Dimension Films has announced that it has acquired the rights to Duke Nukem: The Movie from Threshold Entertainment, a company that specializes in intellectual property management. The film will be produced by Threshold Entertainment and Larry Kasanoff, who produced the Mortal Kombat films. It will follow the story of the 3D Realms' popular Duke Nukem series of action games. In the movie, Duke will head into deep space on a dangerous mission to intercept an alien ship headed for Earth. Duke Nukem: The Movie will be rated PG-13. No release date has been announced.
