Dungeon Siege III turning up DLC in October
Obsidian Entertainment bringing $10 Treasures of the Sun add-on to action RPG next month on 360, PS3, PC.
Dungeon Siege III developer Obsidian Entertainment may have cut staff shortly before the release of its latest role-playing game, but that move won't deprive gamers of add-on content. Today, Square Enix announced Dungeon Siege III will expand this October with Treasures of the Sun.
Available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC editions of the game for $10, Treasures of the Sun will update Dungeon Siege III with an all-new plot arc that sees gamers venturing outside the kingdom of Ehb. As they search for a missing Legion hero, they must navigate the hostile Aranoi Desert, fighting new enemies, finding new items, and embarking on more quests.
Players will be afforded new abilities, spells, and attacks, depending on which of the four classes in Dungeon Siege III they chose to play. The expansion also raises Dungeon Siege III's level cap from 30 to 35. Finally, Obsidian has made changes to the proficiencies and talents system, as well as the item-transmutation feature.
