E3 Nintendo Direct slated for June 11
Nintendo expected to show off Wii U Mario, Smash Bros., and Mario Kart games during briefing next month.
Nintendo will not have a traditional Electronic Entertainment Expo media briefing this year, but the company will hold a Nintendo Direct briefing during the show on June 11, the Mario maker said today.
The Nintendo Direct, which is expected to give gamers more details on the all-new Wii U Smash Bros., Mario, and Mario Kart titles, will begin at 7 a.m. PDT.
Nintendo announced in April that it would opt out of a large-scale E3 press conference this year, instead focusing on smaller, more dedicated presentations and events.
Nintendo's latest Nintendo Direct was held last week and saw the company announcing a three-game exclusive Sonic partnership with Sega, a release date for New Super Luigi U, and new details about Pikmin 3.
