Comments

Tracking down every Elden Ring spell can be a headache, so it's always nice when one is relatively simple to pick up. Such is the case with Crystal Burst, which you can snag quite early in the game by taking down an easy mini-boss. In this guide, we'll tell you exactly where you need to head to find this sorcery.

Crystal Burst explained

Crystal Burst is a sorcery that requires 18 Intelligence to cast. It fires off a burst of crystal shards at enemies, and setting it apart from other spells is the fact that it can be used repeatedly while moving.

Crystal Burst's item description reads:

One of the glintstone sorceries of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Fires a burst of glintstone crystal shards. This sorcery can be cast repeatedly and while in motion. Charging increases potency. A sorcery of the Crystal Cadre, a group of sorcerers who pursued the wisdom of stone - the secrets locked in the faint cogitation of the Crystalians.

Where to find Crystal Burst

Crystal Burst can be obtained by defeating the Demi-Human Queen mini-boss in the Demi-Human Forest Ruins in Weeping Peninsula. This area is easily accessed early in the game by simply heading all the way south from Limgrave and then west to the ruins.

The Demi-Human Queen mini-boss has a few sorceries and heavy attacks that can do some damage, but so long as you've taken out the nearby smaller demi-humans around her first, she shouldn't pose too much of a problem--especially if you're a sorcerer who can toss magic at her until she falls. When she's beaten, you'll get her staff and Crystal Burst.
