With Fallout already getting a TV series next year on Amazon, speculation turns to another massive Bethesda video game property getting a live-action adaptation: The Elder Scrolls. Nothing is officially in the works. However, the creative director behind the popular Elder Scrolls Online sounds supportive of a movie or animated show in the future.

Speaking with Dextero, Rich Lambert provided his perspective on a feature film or even TV series for The Elder Scrolls. "I think it would be cool if we could do it," he said. "I just don't know how we would."

Now Playing: The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom - Wield the Power of the Arcanist Trailer

Bethesda's Fallout franchise will come to Amazon Prime in 2024 as a TV series, with the first footage being showcased at Gamescom in August. The live-action series will take place in Los Angeles and focus on Vault 33.

Last month, at the Tokyo Game Show, ZeniMax Online Studios revealed that The Elder Scrolls Online will finally release on Xbox consoles in Japan on November 15. The latest chapter for the MMO launched earlier this year and is called Necrom, which went all in on cosmic horror.

The studio behind Elder Scrolls Online has also reportedly been working on a new IP for over four years. Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls VI is officially in early development but still years and years away from actually coming out.
