In January Bethesda announced it would no longer charge a mandatory subscription fee to play Elder Scrolls Online, instead adopting a one-time fee to buy the game. The company also confirmed Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’s Xbox One and PS4 release date as June 9.
Tamriel Unlimited will feature all the content from original game "plus all the updates and content additions, including the exciting new Justice and Champion systems."
Bethesda has created ESO Plus for those that want to continue paying a regular fee for the game. Exclusive in-game bonuses and a monthly allotment of Crowns to use in the store, as well as access to all DLC game packs, are provided for paying the subscription.
Bethesda is hosting its own press conference at E3 for the first time this year, seemingly indicating that it has more to show than normal. Rumours of Fallout 4 development have been circulating for a number of years. In April 2013, Bethesda confirmed the Skyrim development team is moving onto its next big project, further intensifying speculation that a Fallout 4 announcement is impending.
