Far Cry: Rise of the Revolution will charter Anton Castillo's origin story.

Comments

Far Cry: Rise of the Revolution is an upcoming audio drama that serves as a prequel to Fary Cry 6, with Giancarlo Esposito returning as Anton Castillo.

Audible released the audio drama today, which follows Anton Castillo's origin story as he begins his quest for power on the fictional island of Yara. Esposito isn't the only character returning to his role though, as almost all actors from the game return, including Jess Salguerio as Clara Garcia, and Anthony Gonzales as Diego Castillo. Audio studio Soundcut is behind the project, with Adele Cutting serving as director, who previously served as a voice director for other Ubisoft titles like Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Immortals: Fenyx Rising.

"We are thrilled to collaborate again with Audible to continue expanding bridges between audio and video games through this original Far Cry audio series," said Julien Fabre, director of global TV and transmedia business development at Ubisoft.

Audible is also working with the Twitch Brand Partnership Studio to challenge the Twitch community to uncover Anton's audio drama from a digital recreation of his citadel throne room. The challenge will involve a custom-made version of the TwitchPlays mechanic, with the audience trying to navigate the "escape room inspired experience." Once the challenges are complete, the audio drama will be unlocked for the viewers.

Far Cry: Rise of the Revolution is out today, February 23, available to listen on Audible.
