Future Strike Strikes Out on Its Own

The game formerly known as Future Strike is no longer part of Electronic Arts' Strike series.

Electronic Arts has informed GameSpot News that the game formerly known as Future Strike (mentioned at the end of its last Strike title, Nuclear Strike) will no longer be part of the company's Strike line.

The reasoning? EA decided that it should not be constrained by the theme of the series. "Now, there's no ceiling to what they can do," a representative commented. Still unnamed, the game is now planned as an action-style mech game, though will likely retain the isometric perspective seen in the Strike series.
