Nintendo's second collection of Game & Watch games is set to hit Japan next week.

For those of us who grew up with video games, we remember how many of the first portable games were available through small pocket LCD titles.

Nintendo made this market grow in both the US and Japan, and last spring released its first Game & Watch Gallery title for the Game Boy. Now, Nintendo is following that up with a second collection, containing more games that give players that nostalgic feeling.

Included in the second collection are Parachute, Helmet, Chef, Vermin, and the double- screen version of Donkey Kong. The games are available for play either in their original 1981-82 versions, complete with LCD sounds and graphics, or as improved '97 versions with new graphics and sound.

There's no word yet as to whether the second collection of Game & Watch games will be released in the US, but we can hope.

The Japanese version will be released on September 27 in Japan for about US$30.
