Friends debuted in 1994 and ran for a decade, ending in 2004. The show stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer as a group of friends in New York. NBC created a spin-off, Joey, which focused on LeBlanc's character and his move to Los Angeles to become a full-time actor. The show only ran for two seasons.

The main cast of Friends got back together for Friends: The Reunion on Max (then known as HBO Max), which debuted in May 2021. Perry, who played Chandler, died in October this year.
