God of War III leads Greatest Hits additions
Sony adds five more titles to lineup of budget-priced catalog titles, including Heavy Rain, ModNation Racers, UFC 2010, and Uncharted 2: Game of the Year Edition.
The PlayStation 3's Greatest Hits lineup of catalog titles has expanded yet again. Sony today added five of 2010's biggest releases to its budget-priced promotion, bringing the total number of inductions into the program to 52.
Leading the latest charge of Greatest Hits games is God of War III, Kratos' current-generation console debut, which originally saw release last March. Other Sony games joining the Ghost of Sparta in the program are the serial killer whodunit Heavy Rain, the customization-friendly ModNation Racers, and the Game of the Year Edition of Uncharted 2. A single third-party title, THQ's UFC Undisputed 2010, also made the cut.
Sony did not say when the Greatest Hits versions of the games should arrive in stores. However, they will be easily identifiable by the line's distinctive red-tinted Blu-ray cases. All of the new editions will carry a suggested price point of $30.
