This song, off the band's 2009 breakthrough album Inhuman Rampage, made its Guitar Hero debut with Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The song also appeared in Double Fine's Brutal Legend and is available for Rock Band as a DLC song.

Jamie Jackson, the creative director and co-head of Guitar Hero Live developer FreeStyleGames, said "Through the Fire and Flames" is one of the Guitar Hero community's "most beloved songs of all time."

The track arrives in Guitar Hero Live as part of a new GHTV channel called "The Shred-a-Thon." Now through Monday, February 8, "Through the Fire and Flames," as well as other difficult-to-play songs from bands like Megadeth and Lamb of God, will be put on an endless cycle for the marathon event.

The Shred-a-Thon:

  • Dragonforce – "Through the Fire and Flames"
  • Alter Bridge – "Cry of Achilles"
  • Megadeth – "Hangar 18"
  • Lamb of God – "Ghost Walking"
  • Trivium – "Strife"
