House Of The Dragon Season 1 4K Box Set Is On Sale For Black Friday

HBO's House of the Dragon is discounted nicely right now ahead of Black Friday. Among Amazon's numerous deals is an offer on the Season 1 box set that brings it down to $28 on 4K Blu-ray. The package normally sells for $50, so this is a pretty good offer.

The bundle includes eight discs and a slick-looking physical box featuring dragons, which are meant to reference House Targaryen. Shipping is free for Prime members, and the bundle could be at your house as soon as tomorrow, November 20, if you order today. The package comes with Blu-ray discs and digital copies, which is a nice perk.

House of the Dragon is a Game of Thrones spin-off set long before the events of the main show, focusing on the drama and in-fighting within House Targaryen. Season 1 was a big ratings success for HBO and Season 2 will arrive in early summer 2024. Production never stopped during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which helped allow the show to remain on schedule.

HBO has said Season 2 will be "extraordinary" and that it will have a more traditional storytelling setup. It's also been confirmed that Season 2 will have eight episodes compared to 10 for Season 1.
