Hypnotic purchases rights to Eternal Darkness

The production company secures exclusive rights to produce TV shows or movies based on the GameCube game.

According to a report on Coming Soon, Hypnotic has purchased the film and TV rights for Eternal Darkness, meaning that the company can produce a feature film or TV show based on the property. Developed by Silicon Knights--the same team currently working on Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the GameCube--Eternal Darkness puts players in control of various members of the Roivas family as they attempt to discover the family's connection to the ancient book known as The Tome of Eternal Darkness.
