The Walking Dead may be coming to an end soon, but the zombie series is far from the last thing we will see from Robert Kirkman on TV. His upcoming animated TV show Invincible, based on his comic book series of the same name, will be headed to Amazon Prime to stream on March 26. Check out the new trailer--and the show's A-list voice acting cast, including Steven Yuen, JK Simmons, Sandra Oh, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, and Mahershala Ali--right now.

Invincible is, unsurprisingly, less zombie-filled than Kirkman's work on The Walking Dead, but features no shortage of blood and violence, as featured in the trailer. The story of Mark Grayson, the teenage son (Yuen) of the world's most powerful superhero, Omni-Man (Simmons), Invincible tackles everything from high flying cape-and-cowl action to deep and devastating family drama. Mark begins to develop superpowers of his own and takes on the codename Invincible--but, as you might surmise from the moments teased in the trailer, things don't exactly go smoothly for him. And, as it turns out, your identity isn't the only thing you have to hide when you decide to put on a mask and try to save the world.

The show also boasts the voice talent of fan-favorite actors like Zazie Beetz, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, and Zachary Quinto. The project was originally announced back in 2018.

Each animated episode will be an hour long. Amazon Prime will be following the release schedule they used for shows like The Boys Season 2 and releasing the first three episodes on March 26 before pivoting to a weekly release schedule for the remainder of the 8 episode season through April 30.
