Madden NFL 19 Cover Star Revealed: Antonio Brown

Steelers wide receiver steals the show.

Comments

Confirming prior leaks, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown will grace the covers of Madden NFL 19 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, as well as its mobile counterpart, Madden NFL Overdrive, later this year. He joins Terrell Owens, who will appear as this year's cover athlete on the Hall of Fame edition.

Brown is known for his end-zone celebrations, which makes him a natural fit to promote one of the marquee features of this year's Madden. "Real Player Motion" promises to make the in-game players move like the real people, adding a bit of personality to your on-the-field play. He's also one of the rare players to be rated a 99 in the Madden Player ratings.

"I am beyond honored to be on the cover of both Madden games," Brown in a statement. "There's a lot of milestones athletes dream of, and after being inducted into the Madden 99 Club earlier this year, and now appearing on the cover of this year's games, it's clear that business is not just booming, but I'm also among the all-time greatest with these honors."

Madden NFL 19 is coming on August 10, and Overdrive will follow as a mobile update on August 15. Purchasing the Hall of Fame Edition will get you early access on August 7, and EA Access and Origin Access members can play for up to 10 hours starting on August 2. Origin Access Premier members get to play on August 2 as well, but without the time restrictions. For more details check out our pre-order guide.
