Metro 3D to publish Cinemaware titles

Metro 3D secures the rights to release several GBA games in development at Cinemaware.

Metro 3D has announced that it has entered into a worldwide publishing and development deal with Cinemaware. Under the agreement, Metro 3D will release several upcoming games from Cinemaware, including the Game Boy Advance games The Three Stooges, Wings Advance, and Defender of the Crown. The Three Stooges will be released in March 2002, while the other two titles will arrive in May 2002.

"We are delighted to be joining forces with Cinemaware in one of our first major business relationships for a series of products," said Joseph Morici, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Metro3D. "Cinemaware is a highly recognized and respected global brand within the personal computer and video gaming industry, and we look forward to furthering our relationship with them in the years ahead."

Metro 3D's agreement with Cinemaware could extend to include the developer's upcoming console titles as well.
