Microsoft Flight Simulator's Official Peripherals For PC And Xbox Series X|S Revealed

Ahead of its launch on Xbox Series X|S on July 27, Microsoft Flight Simulator is about to increase the authenticity of its air travel experience with a range of new peripherals. Designed for both the console and PC versions of the game that range from fancy joysticks to a more traditional mouse and keyboard option from Razer.

Turtle Beach's $350 Velocity One Flight may look like it was ripped from KITT's dashboard in Knight Rider, but the company says that this particular piece of hardware was developed with insight from aeronautical engineers and pilots. It has a true-to-life 180-degree yoke handle with built-in rudder controls, a modular throttle quadrant, an integrated trim wheel, and a custom lever that's suitable for both light and heavy aircraft. There's even a status indicator panel that provides real-time alerts and critical flight details to let you know when you've made a terrible, terrible mistake mid-flight.

For players looking for a more advanced option, the Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls XPC will likely appeal to them. This peripheral also features a full 180-degree yoke rotation, upgraded hall effect sensors, and several switches. The left and right handles include 13 programmable buttons and switches. It might be perfect for a game of Doom Eternal but further testing is required.

Thrustmaster's T.Flight Full Kit X is described as a full flight simulation kit with T. Flight Rudder Pedals (TFRP), a detachable throttle, and a more compact design. The joystick has 14 action buttons and 5 axes, and the entire kit will retail for $200 when it launches on July 27 in the US. Alternatively, the core components can be purchased separately, with the TFRP pedals retailing for $130 and the T.Flight HOTAS One joystick costing $90.
