Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's Final Developer Diary will be streaming August 28 at 5 AM PDT / 8 AM EDT. As usual, you can watch it through Twitch on Monster Hunter's channel.

The upcoming stream will reveal the details around the fifth free title update and unveil who the returning monster will be. Since this Developer Diary is dubbed as the final one, it's looking likely that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne updates might be coming to an end. Nothing has been confirmed, and we'll have to wait for the stream to ascertain the future of the game.

The previous Monster Hunter World: Iceborne title update launched on July 8 and added a fierce dragon named Alatreon that can attack with fire, ice, thunder, and water elements. The game also included a new type of ice wyvern. Named Frostfang Barioth, this variant is essentially harder to defeat since it can unleash the frostblind ailment on players. For more information, you can read a detailed explanation of Iceborne's fourth title update.

Monster Hunter is also bringing back special events in honor of the Iceborne expansion's one year anniversary. The Holiday Joy Fest is currently ongoing and will last until September 3. Holiday Joy Fest's special gear includes items like the Oolong Armor, Lucky Crimson Tiger Pendant, and a Palico Shishi-mai outfit.
