Netflix Announces New Jurassic World Animated Series: Chaos Theory
When the park closes, and the kingdom falls, chaos reigns.
The Jurassic Park franchise has lasted 30 years with no signs of slowing down. It's spawned six feature films and an animated series, on top of an actual part of Universal Studios theme parks. During Netflix's Geeked Week event, the streaming giant announced another CGI animated series, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley are co-showrunners and executive producers. Both men were previously on Netflix's other Jurassic World show, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, and animation veterans. You can check out the teaser below.
It's brief but gives Jurassic fans an idea of what this show will be about, with more escaped dinosaurs running wild. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall are once again attached as executive producers, much like they were with Camp Cretaceous.
No official release date has been set, but it will debut on Netflix sometime next year.
