Netflix has unveiled a sneak peek into its upcoming Scott Pilgrim anime series, slated to debut on November 17. Titled Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, the show brings back the original cast from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

The anime adaptation continues the story from the 2010 film, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Michael Cera lends his voice once again to Scott Pilgrim, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead returns as Ramona Flowers. The trailer, which you can watch below, reveals what Bryan Lee O'Malley's signature art style looks like in motion, combined with the fun, hyperactive energy of Edgar Wright's 2010 live-action adaptation movie

The original cast coming back means the voice-actor lineup includes the return of Ellen Wong as Knives Chau, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim, Aubrey Plaza as Julie Powers, Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, and more.

Science SARU (Devilman Crybaby, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!) handles the animation under the direction of Abel Gongora. Anamanaguchi, known for their contributions to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, provides original songs and also a score in collaboration with Joseph Trapanese (Straight Outta Compton).

O'Malley and BenDavid Grabinski both serve as executive producers, and contribute to the show's creative direction and script, alongside Wright. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is slated to hit Netflix on November 17 with eight episodes.
