This morning, Codemasters released a batch of new images from Pro Race Driver, its forthcoming driving game for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. The game, which is the latest in the company's acclaimed line of TOCA racing titles, seems to boast an impressive level of visual detail in its car models and tracks. To showcase these graphics, the screenshots issued by Codemasters this morning are set up in a way to compare and contrast car and track models with their real-world equivalents. The images include shots of the MG ZS, the Vauxhall Astra Coupe, and the 2001 Ford Falcon, as well as some of the trackside scenery of Hockenheim, Magny Cours, and the A1 Ring.

Pro Race Driver infuses Codemasters' standard TOCA racing formula with elements of character interaction and advancement. Players will assume the role of Ryan McKane, a test driver who will eventually climb in rank to become a world-class racecar driver. Pro Race Driver is scheduled for a simultaneous release on the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and PC in June 2002.
