Players can get The Crew for free on PC starting September 14. Once it's available, go to the Ubi30 webpage, click "Get Your Free Game on PC Now," and follow the instructions. Rayman Origins is the current game on offer.

Starting September 14, The Crew will be available for 30 days, and after you claim it, it's yours forever. Two more free games are scheduled to become available in the coming months.

Some people may have already gotten The Crew for free, as it was a part of the Games With Gold program in June.

The Crew received a score of 5/10 in GameSpot's review. Critic Peter Brown said, "When The Crew puts you into races with good AI, and you get to race through interesting and varied environments, you get the feeling that you're playing a good game. When you struggle to find people to join your crew online, balk at the outdated graphics, and shake your head at the AI and the occasionally unpredictable physics, you realize: The Crew isn't that good after all. When you can't play due to server issues, you find a new game to play and leave The Crew in your dust."
