Nintendo to announce online plans at E3?

In a story published by Reuters yesterday, it was speculated that Nintendo will announce its online gaming strategy for the GameCube at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) later this month. Compounding the likelihood of such an announcement is a pamphlet released by Nintendo to retailers listing the GameCube dial-up adapter as "coming soon." When contacted for a comment, Nintendo was not willing to verify Reuters' claims.
