The Overwatch Closed Beta is coming to an end on April 25 at 10 AM PT, but players wanting to play more of Blizzard's upcoming first-person shooter don't have to wait long--the game's Open Beta starts on May 5.

Blizzard posted the news on its blog, thanking all of the testers for taking part in the Closed Beta. The developer answered some questions and confirmed that the progress made in the Closed Beta will not make its way to the full game.

"No. We've no plans at this time for your activity during the Closed Beta to carry over--to the Open Beta or to launch," the developer said.

Players lose access to the Closed Beta on April 25, but they'll be able to access the beta's forums until April 29. Blizzard also mentioned that it won't be adding any more players to the Closed Beta, and if you want to play the game before launch, then the Open Beta will be your last opportunity.

Overwatch releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24.
