Persona 5 Tactica Officially Revealed At Xbox Showcase
The beloved Persona 5 is getting a strategy RPG spin-off called Persona 5 Tactica, coming November 17, 2023.
Although it was previously leaked through the Instagram account from developer/publisher Atlus, Persona 5 Tactica was officially revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase. It's a strategy RPG spin-off of Persona 5 featuring the same cast of characters along with a new party member who joins the Phantom Thieves and a new villain to take down.
While it's a turn-based tactics game, it features a lot of the flourishes you'd expect from a Persona game. Persona 5 Tactica uses a similar chibi art style seen in Persona Q and Persona Q2, has the same powers you'd expect from characters' personas, and the music and stylish flare that made the original game stand out.
Persona 5 Tactica is set to launch on November 17, 2023 for Xbox platforms and PC--and although it was shown in Xbox's showcase, it'll come to PlayStation and Switch. The remake of the original Persona 3, called Persona 3 Reload, was also shown during the Xbox Showcase with a reveal trailer--and it's coming in early 2024 for all major platforms.
