PlayStation Plus Subscribers Can Save Big During PSN's Latest Sale

PSN's Double Discounts sale is back with deals on Watch Dogs: Legion, Red Dead Redemption 2, and hundreds more PS4 and PS5 games.

The PlayStation Store is hosting another reincarnation of its Double Discounts sale, which is specifically aimed at PlayStation Plus subscribers. As the name suggests, PS Plus subscribers save double during the sale. The Double Discounts sale features some normally pricey editions of popular games, including Red Dead Redemption 2's Ultimate edition, Borderlands 3's Ultimate edition, and Watch Dogs: Legion's Gold edition. The PlayStation Store's Double Discounts sale runs until June 24.

Before we dive into the deals, we should mention that all of the prices are with the PS Plus discount. Due to the nature of the sale, those who aren't subscribers may want to stay away from this promotion. We've seen a lot of these games on sale for less than you'd pay without a PS Plus subscription.

Red Dead Redemption 2's Ultimate edition is on sale for $34, which is the best price we can recall for the priciest version of Rockstar's epic open-world western. The Ultimate edition comes with additional story missions and in-game items for both the campaign and Red Dead Online. Watch Dog Legion's Gold edition is only $40, and it comes with a free upgrade to PS5. The Gold edition contains the season pass, the first Watch Dogs game, extra missions, and bonus in-game content. Borderlands 3's Ultimate edition is down to $50 and comes with both season passes and a ton of extra in-game bonuses.

Watch Dogs: Legion isn't the only Ubisoft game featured in the sale. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is slashed to $15.60, while Assassin's Creed Origins is $12. You can also save big on Far Cry games, including Far Cry 5 for $9.59 and Far Cry New Dawn for $10.40.

Other notable deals include Resident Evil 2's Deluxe edition for $20, Mafia III's Definitive edition for $9.59, Wolfenstein: Alt History Collection for $32, and Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection for $16.49.

We've rounded up the highlights from the Double Discounts sale below. Don't forget to check out PlayStation's Indies sale, too, as that's still running until June 19. With Prime Day 2021 just a couple of weeks away, we've also rounded up the best PS5 Prime Day deals so far.
