Pokemon cards are back at McDonald's.

On September 18, the official Pokemon account tweeted "pika pika" with a picture of the Pikachu-themed Happy Meal box with "it's back" underneath it. Many commenters confirmed that their local McDonald's already started selling the packs. At the very least, there are enough locations that customers have already started posting their Pokemon cards on social media.

Pokebeach, a trusted source of Pokemon leaks, reported on the latest batch of cards after they already appeared in European countries and before they debuted in the US. The promotion is now live in the US and will apparently last for five weeks, ending on October 16.

Like past McDonald's Pokemon card promotions, the Happy Meals include a booster pack with four cards. You can get any of 15 Pokemon cards in your booster pack. All of the cards are from the Scarlet and Violet TCG collection except for Pikachu. Six of the cards are holographic: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Cetitan, Pikachu, and Klawf. You're guaranteed at least one holographic card out of the four that you get.

Though the demand for Pokemon cards doesn't seem to be quite as high as during the pandemic, you will still want to ensure your local McDonald's has these toys. Try calling them or checking the meals' availability from the McDonald's app.
