The console version of Fallout Shelter, the first mobile game ever made by Fallout 4 and Skyrim developer Bethesda Game Studios, launched today on Xbox One and Windows 10.

As announced previously, the free game is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means that when you download it on one platform, you also have access to it--and associated saves and progress--on the other.

Now Playing: Fallout Shelter - Now Available on Xbox One and Windows 10

This new Windows 10 version isn't Fallout Shelter's debut on PC. Following its initial launch on iOS and Android devices in 2015, it came to PC last July.

You can grab the 1.4 GB Fallout Shelter for Xbox One and PC here. As with its previously released versions, Fallout Shelter for Xbox One and Windows 10 features microtransactions.

There is no word yet about a PlayStation 4 version of Fallout Shelter. Microsoft had a co-marketing deal with Bethesda for Fallout 4, so it's possible this was extended in some way to Fallout Shelter.

Fallout Shelter is a free game where you design and manage a Vault in the Fallout world. Since launch, it's expanded with new features and more characters, including those from Fallout 4.
