Rocket League's April update, which adds a basketball mode and Witcher content, continues to grow. Developer Psyonix has announced three items from Team 17's upcoming Worms W.M.D. will be released in the soccer-with-cars game as part of the update, which lands across all systems on April 26.

The items include a Worms W.M.D. topper, along with a grenade antenna and flag. You can see all of these items in the gallery above. Worms W.M.D. comes out this summer for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Rocket League's April 26 update is a big one. The key new addition is the basketball-themed mode "Hoops," which will be played on a map called "Dunk House." Rocket League has already taken on hockey and of course soccer, and we can only wonder what sport the game may riff on next.

You can see Hoops in action here.

As for the other new content in the free update, players can expect officially licensed NBA flags (all 30 team flags will be available to buy while everyone gets a free NBA logo flag), a Witcher Medallion antenna, and Euro Truck Simulator items, among other things. Check back tomorrow to see the official patch notes, provided Psyonix releases them.

In other news about Rocket League, the game has now reached 14 million users, though the game has not necessarily sold that many copies.
