San Francisco Rush on the Way for PS

San Francisco Rush for the Sony PlayStation is in fact on the way - and soon.

Midway assures us that although it's been delayed for about six months now, San Francisco Rush for the Sony PlayStation is in fact on the way - and soon.

Along with every feature found in the Nintendo 64 game, the PS version is told to have a two-player horizontal or vertical split-screen mode, enhanced lighting, night driving, snow driving, and explosive driving, where you must keep your speed up or... explode.

Also, every car from the N64 title will be in the game, along with around nine additional hidden vehicles. But probably the biggest difference between the two games is that San Francisco Rush for the PlayStation will only have four tracks - the basic three from the original coin-op game and one completely new to the arcade or N64 version.

The development is being handled by Climax (formerly known as Images Software), which is also at work on EA's PS rev of Diablo. Expect it to hit store shelves late March or early April.
