Ski Racing Screens: In the House

Yesterday we told you about Sierra's new title in its Front Page Sports series; today we show you screens.

Front Page Sports: Ski Racing uses the new 3-D engine from Dynamix, allowing the race run to be rendered on the fly at respectable frame rates. Players can ski in either a third-person (shown here) or first-person perspective. The onscreen skier is a fully rendered 3-D character whose skis will even be wrapped with the appropriate texture-map, depending on the manufacturer chosen from the set-up screen. Dynamix is still talking with many of the well-known ski companies, as well as a number of apparel manufacturers.
