Tactics Ogre: Reborn Drops To Lowest Price Ever Ahead Of Prime Day Round 2
Save big on the Nintendo Switch and PS5 versions of the heralded tactical RPG.
If you're a fan of tactical role-playing games and haven't played Tactics Ogre: Reborn, you're in for a treat. The Nintendo Switch and PS5 versions of Tactics Ogre: Reborn are on sale for only $25 at Amazon ahead of Prime Day Round 2. The 50%-off deal matches the best offer we've seen on Reborn since it launched last holiday.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn is a remake of the 2010 PSP game Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, which is itself a remake of the 1995 Super Famicom tactics game. Reborn has overhauled graphics, reworked sound effects, and some big tweaks to the overall design of the game to modernize it for a new audience.
There’s an epic story for you to unravel as you engage in tactical, grid-based combat--and if you’re a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics, you’ll find plenty to love about Tactics Ogre: Reborn. The story has branching paths, and one run through the campaign will take most players around 50 hours.
Our Tactics Ogre: Reborn review gave the game an impressive 8/10, praising its impressive narrative and strategic gameplay.
“Tactics Ogre's intense tactical combat, in-depth character-building, and excellent storytelling makes it a must-play for strategy-RPG fans,” wrote critic Heidi Kemps. “It's wonderful that this game is much more widely available now, and most of the updates and upgrades make the package even better. While it might not be a perfect remake, it's a damn good one.”
