During Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2023, series director Katsuhiro Harada took the stage to reveal a ton of new information for Tekken 8. The new trailer gave a first look at a new single-player game mode called Arcade Quest, confirmed a bunch of returning characters, and revealed its launch date: January 26, 2024.

Arcade Quest centers around you as the player and is themed around growing up in the competitive Tekken arcade scene. You'll create a chibi-style avatar and fight different people within an in-game arcade setting. Some customization options and open areas for the mode were showcased in the trailer.
