The Office Complete Series Is Discounted Nicely For Black Friday

The Black Friday shopping bonanza is in full swing, and fans of the NBC workplace comedy The Office can score a good deal on the complete series.

Amazon has the complete series bundle for $68 right now for Black Friday. That's a discount of about 15% off its normal $80 price point. The DVD version is on sale, too, with its Black Friday sale price dropping 40% from $75 to $45. The Blu-ray version includes all nine seasons across 34 discs (the DVD edition has 38 discs).

In addition to all the episodes, the package includes deleted scenes, extended episodes, commentary, blooper reels, and a number of bonus features like the original cast audition tapes. It also includes video footage of the series finale table read and the cast farewells.

The Office, which is based on the Ricky Gervais UK TV series of the same name, debuted in 2005 and ran through 2013. In total, there were nine seasons and 201 episodes.

The show stars Steve Carell as the boss of a Pennsylvania paper company called Dunder Mifflin. The cast also includes John Krasinski as Jim, Jenna Fischer as Pam, and Rainn Wilson as Dwight.

There have been rumors of a remake or reboot of The Office, but Greg Daniels isn't interested in that. Instead, Daniels said he could foresee an offshoot of the show focusing on a different part of The Office universe with a new cast.
