The Mario Red Switch OLED console is now available. Wonder. You can purchase the brand-new console at numerous major retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. The Mario Red Switch OLED released alongside a trio of new Switch holiday bundles.
Alternatively, you can buy the new console as part of a bundle for $400 at Costco. Nintendo Switch OLED - Mario Red Edition
$350
The Mario Red Edition Switch OLED features the iconic shade of red synonymous with Super Mario. If it looks familiar at first glance, that's because Nintendo released a similar Mario Red standard Switch in 2021. However, the Switch OLED iteration includes a few neat Mario Easter eggs. There's a Mario silhouette on the lower-back corner corner of the dock as well as rows of coins under the dock's back cover. The big draw is its ultra-red design. From the dock to the Joy-Con to the Switch itself, the vast majority of this new Switch OLED variation is covered in red.
Other special-edition Switch OLED consoles, such as the Tears of the Kingdom edition, cost $360, but Nintendo is selling the Mario Red model for the regular $350 price.
The Mario Red Edition Switch OLED features a seven-inch OLED screen, enhanced audio, 64GB internal storage, and everything else you need to get gaming--including the dock, Joy-Con, Joy-Con grip, and HDMI cable.
Fans of the mustachioed plumber can get the red console just in time for Mario's latest platforming adventure. Super Mario Bros. Wonder launches October 20, and Nintendo showed off more than 10 minutes of gameplay alongside the special-edition console reveal. Check out our breakdown of the jam-packed trailer.
