Recent Pokemon games let you cook food to power up or capture pocket monsters, but a soon-to-be released cookbook will let you create Pokemon-inspired desserts in real life. My Pokemon Baking Book releases on September 19, but you can preorder your copy now at Amazon, and hardcover copies are discounted to just $22.39 (normally $28). You can preorder the Kindle ebook version for $8.

Inspired by the World of Pokemon features over 50 dessert and confection recipes concocted by author Jarrett Melendez. Each treat is inspired by specific Pokemon like Pikachu or Oshawott, or by one of the many regions featured in the Pokemon series, including Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region.

The My Pokemon Baking Book is the pastry-focused counterpart to the My Pokemon Cookbook by Victoria Rosenthal, which happens to also be on sale at Amazon for just $17 (normally $28) for the hardcover edition, or $7 for the Kindle version. You could use both books to plan a multi-course Pokemon meal for your fellow Poke-fans.

The My Pokemon Baking Book baking book isn't the only upcoming Pokemon release you can preorder right now.

The new baking book drops just a few days after the first big DLC expansion for Scarlet and Violet, The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask, launches for Nintendo Switch on September 13. The second half of the Hidden Treasures of Area Zero expansion, The Indigo Mask, will follow a few weeks later. Both expansions continue the story of the main games, and add additional content like new locations, new side quests, and new Pormone to collect--including all 24 starter Pokemon from previous generations.

Preorders for both parts of the DLC are open on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Similarly, you can also preorder the upcoming Pokemon spinoff game, Detective Pikachu Returns, ahead of its October 6 release date.

Meanwhile, the next Pokemon Trading Card expansion Paradox Rift launches November 3, and you can preorder deck packs and booster bundles at Best Buy and Amazon right now.
