New Releases has a double dose of demons this week thanks to Doom Eternal and the re-release of Doom 64. There's also a double dose of America's favorite pastime thanks to MLB: The Show 20 and RBI Baseball. So that's...a double dose of double doses? A quadruple dose? You can also just relax and explore Tom Nook's island with Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch.

MLB The Show 19 may have included the Minor League, but it didn't have player likenesses. This year's game, however, actually features the Minor League players with their likenesses. And since you're probably wondering which pro got the spotlight, MLB The Show 20's cover athlete is the Chicago Cubs' Javier "El Mago" Bâez.

RBI isn't just "the multiplatform baseball game." It takes a more arcade-y approach to the sport than The Show, and this year's game includes improved pitching, batting, and running controls. It also features all the modes you'd expect, from Franchise to Exhibition to Home Run Derby, and of course you can play against others online too.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons -- March 20

There's almost too much new stuff to talk about with the latest Animal Crossing outing. This one is set on an island--one you can completely terraform using the new Nook Phone. There are also new animal pals to meet, seasonal updates to enjoy, and full customization of your Villager from the start.

Doom Eternal -- March 20

Combat in 2016's Doom was frantic enough on its own, but the sequel is taking things to the next level with a grappling hook and flamethrower. There's also Battlemode, an asymmetrical multiplayer experience where one Doom Slayer takes on two player-controlled demons. Expect tons of demons in the campaign too, including the new Marauder and Doom Hunter.
