Trine 2 coming to PlayStation 4
Frozenbyte's sidescroller confirmed for Sony's next-generation console with 1080p resolution at 60fps.
Trine 2: Complete Story will be released on the PlayStation 4 at or near launch, Finnish developer Frozenbyte announced today on the PlayStation Blog.
In the sidescrolling action puzzle platformer, gamers play as the the Thief, the Wizard, and the Knight; together known as the Three Heroes. Trine 2: Complete Story features 20 levels for its main campaign, as well as the Goblin Menace expansion and the previously Wii U-exclusive Dwarven Caverns level.
Frozenbyte is self-publishing Trine 2: Complete Story on PS4. According to Frozenbyte, the PS4 has allow the studio to go "all out on the technical side." As a result, Trine 2: Complete Store will run in 1080p resolution at 60fps. The game also supports stereoscopic 3D.
"With 3D displays becoming more common every day, we've made sure Trine 2: Complete Story is a treat to play in 3D as well," the developer wrote.
