Trine 2 has received a new release window, as Atlus today announced that the downloadable puzzle platformer will launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC late this summer.

A follow-up to the critically acclaimed original, Trine 2 once again puts players in control of a wizard, a knight, and a rogue as they make their way through side-scrolling worlds. Playable by up to three players online or offline, the game features levels designed to make use of each character's unique abilities. While the knight can handle melee combat with ease, the wizard can magically create platforms and boxes for the characters to climb on, and the rogue can swing across the screen and shoot arrows to take down distant enemies.
