Urgent: Oahu Drive schedule changed due to Xbox Live downtime

Good morning everyone. As some of you may already know, Microsoft yesterday announced that Xbox Live will be unavailable for the entire day, Tuesday, October 17th. Of course, that was the scheduled day of qualifying races for GameSpot's Oahu Drive Test Drive Unlimited Tournament.

As a result, we are forced to adjust the tournament schedule. The biggest change involves the first day of qualifying races, which have been pushed forward to Wednesday, October 18th. The following schedule is revised, and will soon be updated in the tournament page FAQ:

Day 1 - Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

Qualifiers. The top three players from each race move on to the Quarterfinal round.
Race 1 – 1:00 p.m. PT - (6 players)
Race 2 – 1:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 3 – 2:00 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 4 – 2:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 5 – 4:00 p.m. PT - (6 players)
Race 6 – 4:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 7 – 5:00 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 8 – 5:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)

Day 2 - Thursday, October 19th, 2006

Quarterfinal Round. The top three players from each race move on to the Semifinal round.
Race 1 – 3:00 p.m. PT - (6 players)
Race 2 – 3:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 3 – 4:00 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 4 – 4:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)

Semifinal Round. The top three players from each race move on to the Final round.
Race 1 – 5:00 p.m. PT – (6 players)
Race 2 – 5:30 p.m. PT – (6 players)

Day 3 - Friday, October 20th, 2006

Race Finale - 4:00 p.m. PT (6 players, 1 race)

All players who have signed up for Oahu Drive have retained their slots on the new day. If you are unable to participate in your newly assigned timeslot, please withdraw so that other players may take your place. We apologize for the inconvenience.
